end of year blog, 2023-2024: END CREDITS!

overview of the year!!!!

oh boy. what a year this was! why don't we start from the beginning? 2nd quarter, uhhh... october 24th? (according to dominic) anywaayyy... so uh i entered a101 for the 1st time a little nervous and too loud. mr ing was talking and i mightve sold it fir the ppl tryna listen to him.. my bad guys!!! i remember the first thing leyla said: "we got a new student" or smt lols.. funny experience!! from what i heard during summer break ldrship seemed rlly fun and likee... yk i did NOT know what i was getting into this school year!! honestly it was such a wild ride. so... 2nd quarter... uhm. i got to make my biocube which i think was pretty good! not as good as my amazing ela project but uh yk. anyway soooo.... yeah i walk into a101 and mark like the sigma decides to say one of the first few sentences i had heard from an 8th grader besides leyla anyway! so yeah he decides to like ask abt icebreakers n stuff (i sat at the first table you see by a101, in front of the first aid kit).. and me and cassell already knew each other!!! so we didnt really need icebreakers?? also surprising that mark still calls me dylan sometimes.. okay so yeah also cornhole, my first and almost only intramural experience happened in 2nd qtr and ngl.. not knowing the people there made it kinda boring and awkward.. like i only knew abt 3 people in ldrship at the time, those being gabby, riselle, and castle... oh wells! anyway so cornhole was like mid overall. next up... i had the first few leadership period experiences and honestly those first few things were cool-ish cuz they got me to talk more to the 8th graders of my period, those being bianni, reese, and dominic and im pretty sure out of those three it was either reese or bianni to talk to me first.. pretty funny! sooo.. yeahh. that happened, and uhh... i had my first few recognition night and my first family night experience!! recog night had the weird poster of knowledge or smt i forgot what it was called.. yk the one where you had to write a magic note for ur kid n stuff.. kinda goofy ngl. anyway time to move on cuz i really dont wanna write all this... 3rd quarter! first and most important thing. 6TH GRADE ORIENTATION?!?!??!?!!! im pretty sure 6th orientation was this week and honestly it was really fun and quite the interesting experience.. i think the pohakea and iroquois kids were super fire broo.. i remember one asked if there were baddies here.. one: traumatizing, two: i replied, 'depends' and they said, 'but ur my type' and broo... that was crayzeee... :( honestly bro it was still really fun and funny and quite the shenanigan of the 3rd quarter!!!.. and also i had my next two family night and my 2nd qtr recognition night experience... like bro, family night is actually pretty boring and can be a slog sometimes, but i really got to know people like jayden and jewelyn more through them!! so fun!!! :). and finally.. i think i got my first taste of extra energy this qtr and honestly it was not fun.. at least i know what NOT to do next year though!.. and finallyy.. 4th quarter, which was eventful and sUPER BUSY... ik we aint done with fourth qtr at the time of release but mAN.. two days left! hope all of yall is reading this, you goofy goobers!.. and yeah so OUR BIG WIN... LETS GO ILIMA 3 TIME DEFENDING CHAMPS OF THE DANCE COMPETITION!!!!!!!! GET NOOBED WAIPAHU AND STUFF WAHAHA L PLUS RATIOO!!! YOU IDIOT DOODOO FARTS!!! WHAHAHHAHHA WERE JUST BETTER!! WE. ARE. BETTERR!!!!!!!!!!!.... i know this is like what.. the third time ive mentioned dance comp but honestly it was ACTUALLY FIRE. LIKE FOREAL. the bus ride there is pretty funny and it was raining.. it was cold too and honestly itll be so, so fun next year i SWEAR. i also hope i get my asian glowup soon :(.. okay yeah some more things so uhh... CLASS DAYY!! i love class day guys.. i wish 8th graders got to go. oh wait, they doo!! i mean some of them, if they get laid back lol. honestly imagine being laid backk... L plus ratio doodoo farts!! be better!!... yeah anyway so uh. man the fourth quarter ngl is the best and worst time of the year cuz yk.. school is ending and all the fun things are coming but us leadership have a lot of things we needa do, too!!! OKAY BIG UPDATE: ALOHA DINNER. ALOHA DINNER IS ACTUALLY SO FUN AND I SWEAR TO ALL OF YOU... INCLUDING YOU OLDIE 8TH GRADERS.. YOURE ALL GONNA HAVE SOME FUN WHEN I SPEECH NEXT YEAR.. BE PREPARED FUTURE FRESHMEN!.. okay people thats the end of the final yap of this year!!! good luck to all yall and be happy!!!

highlights of the year.. oh boy there's a lot :D soo.. one highlight of this year was me getting past the interviews cuz likee.. if i didnt then i wouldnt be going to the thing next year in the first placee!!! and plus.. yk thats like sooper dooper coolio!! another highlight of this year was finding out i was gt in the first place cuz like i was surprised.. my friends were telling me how being gt basically means youre being leadership and that got me really excited to get in.. i didnt know what i was getting into but man was it one of the best choices i've made this year!! i love leadership and i cant wait to see whats next :).. another highlight of this year were all the bonds ive made this year cuz i have made so many more friends, and ik i have like what.. 3 different friend groups now? theyre all so cool and man i cant wait to see what'll happen next year.. anywayz... so yeah another highlight this year was def the THREEPEATT!!! ILIMA ROYAL PRODIGIES FOR THE WIN BABEY!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH LETS GOOO FIREEEE.. honestly bro we were so up this year and man the next year's prodigies gotta step up their game foreal foreal... be better yallz!!!... and ik there is so much more, but man final highlight is just the year itself and honestllyy.... it was just so fire and amazing this year and i couldnt ask for anything better than what i currently have.. thanks yalls! ygs are the best :)

lowlights of the year....

lowlights of the year.. not all that much because all the goods outweigh the bads! first one, though.. that dylan isnt being ldrship next year. like ik he can get a little annoying and a bit of a handful sometimes, but now that he's not being in ldrship, i have like little hope that i'll get classes with him :(.. i hope i get algebra 1 with him though! anyway, so his presence in leadership made some very funny moments because at dance comp.. apparently mr. ing had a video of dylan hitting the griddy while we celebrated the threepeat and man, i wish i couldve seen it. oh wells!.. anyway so yeah dylans so cool and i wish he did an interview :(.. another lowlight of this year was the little times of extra energy i experienced this year.. cuz likee.. there were almost no energy directed towards us but the big one.. that was a bit scary and man.. at least i know what i need to do for next year..! seriously though like. i really hope smt like that doesnt happen again... and finally, another lowlight of this year is just how short it felt like broo.. those 4 quarters felt like A FEW WEEKS.. like i remember the first day of the year already man.. did it really pass by that fast?!?!!? like dude thats actually insane. anyways guys. no more lowlights! everythings happy and fun from this point forward! :DDD

lesson of the year is...

BE. AMAZING. and not be a doodoo stinky fart person, as well as to not hide away all the time! honestly it all really depends on preference and you can do WHATEVER you wanna but... honestly hiding your true self away from new people and refusing to even try to show said people is just boring and can push people away from you... and that might just hurt your own mental state as well!! and we dont want bad mental health because mental health is super dooper important just like your physical health!!! i have had a lot of experience with this 'coming out of your shell' thing cuz before i was a little tiny guy just sitting there and doing his own thing but then leadership came along and is like, "no youre gonna be cool and talk to people and be confident" and honestly i didnt like it first but as time went on and on, again and again so many things.. just happened and gave me, like i said, the best character development of this entire series (year) ever!!! like honestly dude just.. an amazing year overall. so cool!
